Violent detention of protesters.
A woman who stayed on the bus stop was detained and forced to the van. According to the comment, more accidental people were apprehended there.
In Barauky, a residential district of Baranavichy, people gathered together for a tea-party at 20:00 but at 21:00 they were dispersed by police; one man was detained using force.
Dispersing the protest action, servicemen damaged cars on their way by truncheons and sprayed a parked car with something (they damaged at least the windscreen, windows and lights of this car).
During protests in Baranavichy on August 9, tear gas and stun grenades were applied, several people were injured. One of the journalists witnessed the detention of two men around 3 a.m. They did not offer any resistance but were beaten by truncheons.

A protester with a white-red-white flag was explained by a police captain that he cannot use the symbols and taken to the police. The captain told women with white-red umbrellas that the protester would be released shortly.
2 officers in olive and 2 plainclothes police officers brutally and arbitrarily detained a peaceful and unarmed group of 3 women. One had a white-red-white Belarusian flag on her shoulders. One of them called for help.
