In this footage, a crowd of protesters moved away from the line of specially equipped riot vehicles (‘Rubezh’ type with a metal fence in front), of water cannons, and Avtozak. They slowly moved towards stationery and empty trolleybus, and what appears to be a barricade made of various street furniture debris.

Vadzim Hulevich was detained at Pershamajskaja Street, near cafe Shparky Los on August 10 2020 at approximately 10:40 pm. He was taken to Leninsky ROVD where he was beaten, especially during interrogation. He was psychologically pressured and threatened with sexual assault. He was not ill-treated in the detention center. However, during the trial, Vadzim was not able to have a lawyer. The judge, Volha Drazdova, sentenced him to 14 days in jail.

In this instance, several flashbang grenades explosions could be heard. People ran in the street and were chased by internal forces representatives. One person was thrown to the ground and beaten with rubber batons.

Many people were standing around on the road next to Masherova 51 and 53. They suddenly started running in direction of Tsimirazeva junction. Flash bang grenades explosions were observed in the field of vision and behind the nearby residential buildings.

The video captures the movement of forces and surroundings at the intersection of Prospect Pobeditelei and Prospect Masherova. It filmed rapid and vast movements of troops against civilians, the use of gas grenades, and their capabilities compared to civilians. The troops chased people even when the latter are unarmed and are kept within a residential area.

The interview with the victim was taken straight after her release from a detention facility. The victim was charged with participating in riots and was taken into custody alongside her husband even though there were no riots at the time.

During the evening, OMON servicemen were seen to be using excessive force in order to detain male civilians in a parking lot. Thereafter, bystanders attempted to free those who were being detained.

The events in question took place as a crowd of protesters was traveling in the direction of Tsimirazeva str. junction. Protesters were running away from the vehicles of the internal forces which were equipped with water cannons in addition to troops on the ground. In the background, there sounds of air horns as well as water cannon fire.

Three men, allegedly journalists from the TV channel “Doghd” were detained by eleven unidentifiable men dressed in civilian clothes and masks. The abductees were kept on asphalt with their face down and hands tied behind their backs with something other than handcuffs.

Several OMON servicemen attacked and beat male civilians from the shopping center hall, using truncheons. The civilians were not being violent at the time or engaging in any acts of vandalism. Some of the civilians tried to escape.

An OMON serviceman beat the victim lying on the ground with a club and kicked him in the stomach. He hit the victim with full force while three other OMON servicemen looked on without taking any action to stop it.

The first victim, Aleksandr, was detained when going to a date. He saw that minors were beaten in a prison van and asked servicemen not to beat the children and beat him instead. In Leninsky ROVD, he was beaten by OMON officers with truncheons.
