Identity of the victim(s): Vitaly Shatalov (Виталий Шаталов)

Identity of the perpetrator(s): unknown people in black uniform (OMON?), policemen and people in civic clothes (the victim supposes, criminal investigators)

The victim, together with three other men, was detained and severely beaten by men in black uniforms (he supposes, OMON) in the prison van. He was further ill-treated and beaten at Leninsky ROVD. There were approx. 20 people detained in the gym and were forced to kneel in a specific position.

As the result, the victim suffered a traumatic brain injury and brain concussion. He was taken to hospital due to heavy bleeding where he was operated on and hospitalized at the neurosurgery department. He escaped from the hospital the following day because he was in fear of the police. He subsequently filed a complaint to the investigative committee and underwent a forensic medical examination.
