Description

Time: daytime

Place/Location: Masherava Avenue

Identity of the victim(s): peaceful protesters

Identity of the perpetrator(s): undefined

A large group of riot police officers in full uniform, helmets and shields confronted a crowd of peaceful protesters. The protesters clapped their hands and shouted "Vitya, come out." The line of riot police did not allow the protesters to move further down the street. From time to time, riot police tried to push back the protesters, but didn’ engage in direct confrontation and did not use violence.

At some point, a grenade appeared in the frame, from which white smoke came out. It is unclear where it came from, for the first time it was visible under the feet of the police, perhaps one of them dropped it. Subsequently, one of the policemen kicked it behind the back of the OMON line.
