This is a joint case for all videos depicting police damaging cars and persecuting drivers during the night on 11-12 August 2020. All videos were captured in multiple locations in Minsk. This is to demonstrate the scale and barefaced violence against drivers who supported or allegedly supported peaceful protests.
The next video captures how police officers stopped the vehicle with red crosses on it and detained volunteers that were inside. The car was searched. The video also shows that police arbitrarily stopped other cars and motorbikes and forced drivers to open doors and trunks in order to search them. It is visible that female volunteers were released and the off-screen voice suggests that the car was confiscated.
The next video captures how a squad of fully-equipped OMON officers with shields and helmets were running along the road and were damaging parked cars. At 00:15 it also captures a taxi car with broken windows and shattered glass lying everywhere.
The next video captures how a group of OMON officers searched a car and detained a driver. Then they proceeded to the next car on the opposite side of the road.
The next video captures how a group of police officers arbitrarily stopped cars on a wide street in Minsk and detained drivers. Detained people were taken into an unmarked van.
The next video captures a car with shattered side windows and a broken front window. It also shows a man without a t-shirt that used a brush to brush off the remains of shattered glass from his body.
