Identity of the perpetrator(s): OMON, custodial workers, custodial medical assistants/doctors, judge

The victim was taking a video of military forces when Special Purpose Police Unit OMON detained him and confiscated his belongings. The victim was brought to the police precinct of Leninskij district. The detention protocol did not reflect facts at the time of detention. The victim, therefore, refused to sign.

He was transferred to Okhrestino at about 10 PM. Upon arrival, the victim observed blood on the road and arrestees forced on the ground and/or at the wall. He was placed in a cell with about 21 men and later transferred to a cell with about 40 people. No food was provided for three days. Detainees were repeatedly beaten and humiliated and were refused medical aid and assistance. Local doctors openly laughed at people's injuries.

The victim was forced to sign a summons under the threat of longer incarceration. The victim was denied legal aid at the court hearing. Unknown witnesses gave false statements while the judge issued a judgment extending the period of detention. The victim testified that detainees were severely beaten, tortured, and humiliated before release.
