Maksim Ahtsienka was detained in Homyel on August 10, 2020. There were not many people on Savyetskaya Street at 7 p.m., so they went to a bar on the quay. They had small portable radio sets. When they left the bar, they were detained and beaten by AMAP (OMON). In Homyel RUUS, he was beaten, including blows by truncheons, kicked, verbally insulted, subjected to degrading treatment and death threats. As a result of the beating, he fell unconscious.

He was driven to the hospital under police escort. He was to sign a document that he had a home accident at threat. Then he was returned to Homyel RUUS and forced to lie face down on the cold floor with his hands behind his back in a hall from 3:30 a.m. until approx. 6 p.m. He was sentenced to 12 days of arrest. Then he was interrogated, beaten and threatened again.
