Time: evening. If the time of the video camera is correct, the detention happened around 11 p.m.

Identity of the victim(s): Vasil Dzedaviec (Василий Дедовец), 21 y.o., student

Identity of the perpetrator(s): undefined servicemen in khaki camouflage and black armored jackets, some had # 411, 413, 404, 412, 421 on their backs, one had insignia OMON on the jacket

A group of students were staying in front of a hostel and did not do any harm. When they saw servicemen approaching, they ran  away to the hostel. Servicemen followed Vasil, broke the door, cruelly beat him, including beating him on his genitals, used  pepper spray and arrested him (he was taken out of  the hostel).

While leaving the hostel, one of the servicemen broke the glass on the table of the woman who tried to defend  Vasil. In the van, Vasil was once again subjected to cruel and degrading treatment. During the first night, he had to  sit  in a room of the Security Services Department. He was sentenced to 15 days imprisonment.

The judge was not interested in any real evidence. Vasil was forced to sign an unknown document. He remained  without food until Wednesday (on 12 August 2020). On 14 August 2020, he was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a brain contusion, injuries and bruises.

Previously, he was detained on 9 August 2020  (while walking with a friend) and released on 10 August 2020.
