Yury Shafranski was detained on Sept 27, 2020, after the Sunday march in Uruchcha when moving in MacDonald's direction. The man was severely beaten and lost consciousness on the bus. Other detainees on the bus had different injuries, but no medical aid was provided. From witnesses, Yury got to know how he was beaten being unconscious, including blows to the face and genitalia. After the man was poured by a bucket of water, he regained consciousness and was beaten again in Tsentralnaye RUUS of Minsk.
He was sentenced to 15 days of arrest. At Akrestsina Detention Center, he was kept with three other people in the isolation ward intended for one person. Light in the ward was on all the time, water was absent. Once a day they get a bucket of water to float out excrement. The arrested people were to sleep on uncovered concrete floor. All of them got cold. A doctor did not provide any medical aid. Things and food brought for the arrested were put outside; they received these things when the food was bad. Concentrated chlorine solution was poured into the ward without airing.
Yury did not receive any documents except payment details without any signature or stamp. His relatives could not receive any information about him before the court proceeding, though they called to a lot of places.
