Water cannons dispersed the crowd on Nemiga Street, pouring orange liquid over the protesters. On Romanovskaya Sloboda Street, demonstrators were harshly detained by plainclothes policemen. The detainees were harshly pushed to the ground and then got beaten up with rubber truncheons and punched.

A press representative was beaten up as well, but he was then released. The demonstrators were detained for national symbols and for no apparent reason. After the arrests in the street, law enforcement officers continued to persecute civilians in the courtyards of houses.
