A detachment of riot police in black uniforms chased groups of demonstrators and single demonstrators wearing national symbols. The police force violently arrested civilians who were walking from the Stella "Minsk - heroic city", putting their hands behind their back, and took them to the paddy wagons.

On the right side of Pobediteley Avenue from the stele, a paramilitary unit, dressed in camouflage uniforms and armed with shields and rubber truncheons, was moving in line.
