Place/Location: Zhodino detention facility

Identity of the victim(s): people released from Zhodino detention facility and some others

Identity of the perpetrator(s): undefined servicemen at Zhodino detention facility, Akrescina detention facility and others

Interviews were taken near the Zhodina detention facility. Interviewees described different violations:
(a) unlawful detention of all cafe employees by OMON; the cafe was left open and unattended;

(b) detention of two people who helped together with official Red Cross volunteers and had red crosses on their bags near Pushkinskaya metro station in Minsk;

(c) the victim was taken from the car near Pushkinskaya metro station on the night of Monday to Tuesday (that means August 10 to 11); the car was damaged as a result of blows on the hood; in Zavodskoye RUUS, the emergency was called to the victim, because he bled much;

(d) some detained were reported to be released at night 1-4 AM with no warm clothes, no transportation;

(e) a man told that beating and the attitude to detainees at Akrestsina detention facility, especially on the part of the shift that started serving on the night of August 11 to 12 were much worse than those previously at Minsk Detention Center No. 1 (so-called Valadarka);

(f) overcrowded cells; no court hearings in some cases; false information in the protocol of detention; intentionally damaged detainees' property such as mobile phones; not all personal belongings were returned to detainees.
