Identity of the victim(s): Testimony #5.
Identity of the perpetrator(s): Special Purpose Police Unit OMON at the time of detention: black uniform with "OMON" insignia equipped with truncheons and electroshock weapons; police officers at a detention center.
The victim met with his relatives to pray at a church. He was sitting in a car when about four dozen OMON soldiers arrived, forcibly removed the victim from the car, and beat him as well as his brother. They were thrown into a blue bus that bore no identification signs and was forced to lie on other individuals who had been arrested. After learning that the victim was a baptist, a soldier beat him up again and stunned him with an electroshock weapon. The soldiers then drove the individuals to a detention center. During transportation and whilst in detention, the victim was beaten, tortured, threatened, and deprived of his property. He was refused access to essentials needs including water and use of the toilet. As a result of his detention, the victim developed heart pain and was hospitalized.
1) The victim saw a face of a commanding officer in the detention center: 40-45 years old, athletic and slab-sided, short slightly grey hair, light-colored eyes, characterful face
2) at the time of hospitalization, he observed lots of men with injuries caused by power authority representatives.
3) Victim's brothers were placed in Okhrestino while another relative in the same detention center as the victim
